School Temporarily Closed from March 2nd
Dear parents and guardians,
Our school received a request from the Japanese government to close schools temporarily from March 2nd until the beginning of spring break as a preventive measure. In adherence with the request, we decided to close our school with a period of self-study at home from March 2nd to March 19th, and encouraged students to return to their home or home country.
Consequently, we canceled the closing, senior high school graduation, and junior high school graduation ceremonies. The school is currently scheduled to reopen on April 7th (return to dormitories day).
We would like to assure you that we are doing everything in our ability to manage this unforeseen circumstance in coherence with the government policies.
The following are preventive measures we are taking:
《Policies》
▶Students who returned to their home need to monitor their health and must report to their homeroom teacher about their individual body temperature, general health condition, and situation of self-study at home.
▶Due to strict Japanese immigration regulations, students from Hubei and Zhejiang Provinces, China and Daegu city, Korea are not permitted to return home during this short-term break.
▶Students who plan to renew their residence cards in March should stay in the school and make it a priority to complete all visa procedures.
